TERMS & CONDITIONS

General information

Beachfront Leisure Ltd operates bar and restaurant venues that may include indoor and outdoor seating areas. Bookings and table allocations are managed to ensure efficient service, however specific tables or locations cannot be guaranteed unless agreed in writing as part of a Semi Private or Exclusive Use Booking.

The Company reserves the right to allocate tables based on operational requirements, group size, weather conditions, and service flow. Outdoor tables may be affected by weather and cannot always be guaranteed. In the event of poor weather, the Company will attempt to move bookings indoors where possible, but this cannot be guaranteed.

The Company will make reasonable efforts to accommodate seating and table location requests, including indoor, outdoor, window, or specific areas of the venue. However, table locations and specific tables cannot be guaranteed and are allocated based on operational requirements, group size, weather conditions, accessibility, and overall service flow.

All areas of the Venue are subject to capacity limits, licensing conditions, and health and safety requirements. The Company reserves the right to refuse entry or service where this is necessary for safety, legal, or operational reasons.

The Company reserves the right to refuse service to any person who is intoxicated, behaving in a disruptive, abusive, or unsafe manner, or who does not comply with reasonable requests from staff.

Customers are responsible for the behaviour of all guests within their booking. The Company reserves the right to end a booking or event early if behaviour is deemed unsafe, illegal, or disruptive to other guests or staff. In such circumstances, no refunds will be given.

Children under the age of 18 must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times and may be subject to licensing restrictions, including time restrictions depending on the Venue.

Dogs may be permitted in certain areas of the Venue at the Company’s discretion. Dogs must be kept under control and on a lead at all times. The Company reserves the right to ask that dogs be removed if they are disruptive, unsafe, or causing disturbance to other guests.

The Company does not accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings brought into the Venue.

The Company may from time to time take photographs or video footage within the Venue for marketing and promotional purposes. By entering the Venue, customers agree that they may appear in such content. If any customer does not wish to be photographed or filmed, they should inform a member of staff.

Opening Hours & Service Times

Opening hours, kitchen service times, and bar service times vary throughout the year and may change due to seasonal trading, private events, or operational requirements.

The most up to date opening hours and service times are available here.

Customers are responsible for checking opening hours and service times before visiting or making a booking.

The Company reserves the right to change opening hours, service times, and availability without prior notice where reasonably necessary due to private events, staffing, weather, maintenance, licensing requirements, or other operational reasons.

Where a booking is affected by a change to opening hours or service times, the Company will make reasonable efforts to contact the Customer using the contact details provided at the time of booking.

General Table Bookings

Beachfront Leisure reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions without notice at any time. Your continued use of this site after changes are posted will constitute your acceptance of the changes to these Terms.

BOOKING CONFIRMATION
General Table Bookings can be made online, by email, by telephone, or in person. A booking is only confirmed once the Customer receives a booking confirmation from the Company.

The Company reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking at its discretion where necessary for operational, safety, or legal reasons.

CARD AUTHENTICATION
All General Table Bookings require card authentication at the time of booking. Card authentication securely stores the Customer’s card details to guarantee the booking. No charge is made at the time of booking.

By providing card details, the Customer agrees that the Company may charge the card in accordance with the cancellation and no show policy set out in these Terms and Conditions.

CANCELLATION & NO SHOWS
General Table Bookings may be cancelled or amended up to 24 hours before the booking time without charge.

Cancellations made within the cancellation period, reductions in guest numbers within the cancellation period, or failure to attend a booking (No Show) will result in a £5 per guest cancellation fee being charged to the card provided at the time of booking.

The cancellation fee is calculated based on the number of guests on the booking at the time of cancellation or the original booking size in the case of a No Show.

LATE ARRIVALS
Tables will be held for 15 minutes after the booking time. If the Customer is running late, they should contact the Venue as soon as possible.

If the Customer fails to arrive within the grace period and has not contacted the Venue, the booking will be treated as a No Show and the table will be released.

TABLE DURATION
Tables are allocated for a non-extendable set duration depending on group size and service periods. The customer will be informed of table return times where applicable at the time of booking.

Customers who arrive late will have their table time reduced accordingly.

GROUP BOOKINGS
Bookings for larger groups may be subject to deposits, set menus, pre orders, or minimum spend requirements. The Company will inform the Customer of any such requirements at the time of booking.

OUTDOOR TABLES & WEATHER
Outdoor table bookings are subject to weather conditions. The Company will attempt to move bookings indoors or to covered areas in the event of poor weather, but this cannot be guaranteed.

Where indoor or covered space is not available, the booking may proceed outdoors or the Customer may choose to cancel in accordance with the cancellation policy. Cancellation fees may still apply where the booking is cancelled within the cancellation period.

A booking for an outdoor table does not provide an automatic right to an indoor or covered table in the event of bad weather.

Customers may not make multiple bookings, including indoor and outdoor bookings for the same party, in order to hold alternative tables in case of weather or change of plans. The Company reserves the right to cancel duplicate bookings and retain any applicable cancellation fees in accordance with the cancellation policy.

The Company will always make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes due to weather, but this cannot be guaranteed.

TABLE ALLOCATION
While the Company will make reasonable efforts to accommodate table location requests, including indoor, outdoor, window, terrace, or specific areas of the venue, table locations and specific tables cannot be guaranteed unless agreed in writing as part of a Semi Private Booking or Exclusive Use Booking.

Tables are allocated based on operational requirements, group size, service flow, weather conditions, accessibility requirements, and overall venue capacity.

The Company reserves the right to move bookings to a different table or area of the venue where reasonably necessary for operational reasons.

SPECIAL REQUESTS
The Company will make reasonable efforts to accommodate special requests, including table locations, accessibility requirements, and celebrations, but these cannot be guaranteed.

SEMI-PRIVATE & EXCLUSIVE USE BOOKINGS

EVENT AGREEMENT
All Semi-Private and Exclusive Use Bookings are subject to a written Event Specification issued by OHSO Social. The Event Specification will set out the specific details of the booking including the date, times, area or venue hired, minimum spend, deposit, payment schedule, guest numbers, menus, equipment, and any additional agreed services.

These Terms and Conditions must be read together with the Event Specification. In the event of any conflict between the Event Specification and these Terms and Conditions, the Event Specification shall take precedence.

A booking is not confirmed until the required deposit has been paid.

MINIMUM SPEND
All Semi-Private and Exclusive Use Bookings are subject to a minimum spend requirement. The minimum spend amount will be set out in the Event Specification and shall apply regardless of the number of guests attending.

The minimum spend can be met through food and drink purchased in connection with the event, including pre-ordered food, pre-ordered drinks, drinks packages, bar tabs, and on-the-day purchases during the event.

DEPOSIT & PAYMENT SCHEDULE
A £250 deposit is payable at the time of booking in order to confirm the booking with the remaining balance of the minimum spend paid no later than 6 weeks prior to the event date.

If the booking is made within 6 weeks of the event date, the full minimum spend must be paid at the time of booking.

OHSO Social reserves the right to cancel the booking if payments are not received by the stated deadlines.

RECONCILIATION AFTER THE EVENT
Following the event, the total spend will be calculated and reconciled against the minimum spend paid in advance.

If the total spend during the event is less than the agreed minimum spend, the shortfall will be retained by OHSO Social as part of the minimum spend commitment and no refund will be due in respect of that shortfall.

The total spend during the event plus any amount paid above the agreed minimum spend that is not spent during the event will be refunded to the customer within 10 days following reconciliation of the final bill.

CANCELLATIONS BY THE CUSTOMER
If the Customer cancels, the following cancellation terms shall apply:
- If cancellation takes place more than 6 weeks before the event, the deposit and any additional payments will be refunded.
- If cancellation takes place more than 14 days days before the event, a cancellation fee equal to 25% of the minimum spend shall apply.
- If cancellation takes place within 14 days of the event, a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the minimum spend shall apply.

CANCELLATION BY OHSO SOCIAL
OHSO Social reserves the right to cancel a booking at any time due to circumstances including, but not limited to, licensing issues, safety concerns, venue closure, force majeure, or other circumstances outside OHSO Social’s reasonable control.

Where OHSO Social cancels a booking, all monies paid by the Customer will be refunded.

OHSO Social’s liability in relation to any cancellation shall be limited to the total amount of monies paid by the Customer in respect of the booking, and OHSO Social shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including travel costs, accommodation, third-party suppliers, or loss of profit.

PRE-ORDERS
Food and drink pre-orders must be confirmed and submitted no later than 7 days before the event using OHSO Social’s pre-order system.

If the booking is made within 7 days of the event, there will be no option to submit pre-orders and food availability may be limited.

Once submitted, pre-orders cannot be amended.

DRINKS PACKAGES & BAR TABS
Where drinks packages or bar tabs are agreed for events or group bookings, the details will be set out in the Event Agreement or confirmed in writing.

Bar tabs may be limited to a maximum amount agreed in advance. Once the bar tab limit is reached, additional drinks must be paid for individually unless the Customer agrees to extend the bar tab.

OHSO Social reserves the right to stop service under any drinks package or bar tab where licensing laws or responsible drinking policies require this.

FINAL NUMBERS
Final guest numbers must be confirmed 5 days prior to the event.

Reductions in guest numbers at any time will not reduce the agreed minimum spend and may not reduce charges for pre-ordered items, set menus, or packages already committed to.

ACCESS, SET UP & EVENT TIMINGS
The booking time must include any time required for set-up, decorations, supplier access, sound checks, or similar preparations. No additional set-up time will be allowed outside of the agreed booking times unless agreed in writing in advance.

The event must start and finish at the agreed times. Additional charges may apply where events overrun or require additional staffing, security, or operational support.

ADMISSION & AGE RESTRICTIONS
OHSO Social reserves the right to refuse admission to any person, or to remove any person from the venue, regardless of whether the booking is a Semi-Private or Exclusive Use Booking.

For Semi-Private Bookings, the venue’s normal licensing and admission policies regarding under 18s apply.

For Exclusive Use Bookings, OHSO Social may permit under 18s outside of normal licensing policies where agreed in advance as part of the Event Agreement. OHSO Social reserves the right to impose conditions regarding supervision, alcohol service, and event timings.

VENUE EQUIPMENT & EQUIPMENT HIRE
Where OHSO Social provides equipment for use during an event, including but not limited to DJ equipment, sound systems, microphones, lighting, screens, or other technical equipment, such equipment remains the property of OHSO Social at all times.

The Customer is responsible for ensuring that any equipment provided by OHSO Social is used correctly and only by competent persons. OHSO Social reserves the right to refuse use of equipment where it believes the person operating the equipment is not competent to do so.

The Customer shall be responsible for any loss, damage, or misuse of equipment provided by OHSO Social caused by the Customer, their guests, DJs, performers, contractors, or suppliers.

OHSO Social reserves the right to charge the Customer for the cost of repair, replacement, or professional servicing required as a result of damage, misuse, or improper operation of equipment.

OHSO Social may require a damage deposit for the use of certain equipment.

CONTRACTORS & THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Where OHSO Social engages DJs, musicians, performers, photographers, security, equipment suppliers, or any other third-party contractors on behalf of the Customer, the Customer agrees that the cost of such contractors and services may be non-refundable and may be retained by OHSO Social in all circumstances once the contractor has been confirmed or booked.

Contractor costs may be payable regardless of cancellation date and may be charged in addition to any applicable cancellation charges or minimum spend obligations.

DAMAGE, CLEANING & ADDITIONAL COSTS
The Customer is responsible for any damage to the venue, furniture, equipment, fixtures, fittings, or any equipment provided by OHSO Social caused by guests, contractors, or suppliers.

OHSO Social reserves the right to charge for repairs, replacement, additional cleaning, waste removal, or any additional staffing or security required as a result of the event.

BEHAVIOUR & RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE
OHSO Social reserves the right to refuse service, refuse entry, remove guests, or end an event early where guests are intoxicated, abusive, aggressive, acting unlawfully, acting unsafely, or otherwise behaving in a way that may cause harm, nuisance, damage, or disruption.

Where an event is ended early for these reasons, no refund will be due and the agreed minimum spend and any other sums due will remain payable.

ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS

The Company reserves the right to refuse certain payment methods at its discretion.

The service charge is discretionary and may be removed or amended at the Customer’s request.

Service charge is distributed to staff in accordance with the Company’s service charge distribution policy.

Service charge is applied to the total bill including food and drink but may be excluded from certain charges such as cancellation fees, damage charges, equipment hire, or contractor costs unless otherwise stated.

FORCE MAJEURE
OHSO Social shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations under these Terms and Conditions where such failure is caused by events outside its reasonable control.

Such events include, but are not limited to, severe weather, flood, fire, power failure, utility failure, equipment failure, staff shortages, strikes, supplier failure, government restrictions, public health restrictions, licensing issues, acts of terrorism, civil unrest, or any other unforeseen circumstance beyond the Company’s control.

Where a Force Majeure event occurs, the Company reserves the right to cancel, postpone, relocate, amend, or reduce the booking, event, or services.

Where possible, OHSO Social will attempt to reschedule the event to an alternative date. If rescheduling is not possible, the Company will refund monies paid.

OHSO Social shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including but not limited to travel costs, accommodation costs, third party supplier costs, or loss of profit.
