What do you do if the weather is bad?
With the majority of our seating for guests being outside on our beautiful beach terrace, we are exposed to the elements if the weather is not being friendly. We have limited seating inside, and where possible we will try to accommodate you there, but please keep in mind that the weather is unpredictable and this is subject to availability. If you want to reschedule a booking, please contact our bookings team.

Do you offer table service, or do we have to queue at the bar?
We want to make your visit to us as easy as possible, therefore you're welcome to order at the bar, with out of our team members at your table, or using our order-at-table service by scanning the QR code on your table.

What time is your kitchen open?
We have a breakfast menu, an all-day menu, and a Sunday menu. Take a look at our opening times for more details.

We have a dog, can we bring them with us?
Of course! We love our four-legged friends and they are more than welcome on the terrace. Please note that we can get very busy, and for this reason pets are not permitted inside. If you need refreshments for your furry friend please ask a member of the team.

Are you wheelchair accessible?
Absolutely, our Beach Terrace is fully wheelchair accessible as is our Club House and bar where you'll also find out accessible toilet. Please note that the Sundowner Terrace is raised and has a couple of small steps, for which our team will be happy to help with a ramp.

Whats the deal with guests under the age of 18?
We welcome our younger guests with open arms. We have highchairs available for the little ones and kids menus available for those that aren't quite big enough for a full portion. We kindly ask that children are supervised at all times. Regretfully under 18s will need to vacate the venue by 9pm; this is purely for their safety as the nights can get very busy. Please note that different times may apply on days where we are hosting events.

Can we bring a pushchair?
Absolutely! We get very busy at times, so if you are bringing a pushchair we'd advise letting us know in advance so we can ensure you have a table with a little more space around it.

Can we bring our own food?
Unfortunately not. We do not allow any food other than that ordered from our kitchen to be consumed on the premises. Any food found on your person will be held at the entrance.

Can we bring our own drinks?

Unfortunately not. We do not allow any food other than that ordered from our bar to be consumed on the premises. Any drinks found on your person will be held at the entrance.

Can we bring a birthday cake?
Yes! We love a celebration! Please let us know in advance, and please note that we may not always be able to store these for you.

We are celebrating! Can we decorate our table?
Yes! Balloons and banners are welcome, but please ensure they do not interfere with any other tables or guests. We do not allow confetti or sparklers.

Do you allow fancy dress?
Call us party poopers but unfortunately not. You're welcome to change when arriving with us, but we will not allow you entry whilst wearing fancy dress.

What is your policy on stag and hen parties?
We welcome well-behaved groups regardless of whatever you're celebrating, however we advise you to book in advance. We would love to help you celebrate, but we kindly ask that you do not disturb any other guests whilst with us. Fancy dress is also not permitted. Unfortunately we will refuse entry or ask you to leave if you arrive in fancy dress or disturb other guests, and this is regardless of whether you have a booking with us.

Do you have a dress code?
Not really, we are very relaxed, however please be aware that we don't permit sportswear and beachwear, and even if the gym membership is paying off, we request that all guests to keep their tops on.

Do we need to bring ID?
You don't need to, but please be advised that we operate a Challenge 25 policy without exception, so it's probably a good idea especially if you're blessed with youthful good looks. We will refuse service of restricted products to you if you don't have valid ID, with the decision of the manager being final in all cases. If you are visiting us later in the evening or for an event, you may require ID for entry.

We'll be bringing bicycles with us, can we bring these into the venue?
Unfortunately not unless you can fold it. You are welcome to leave your bicycle outside the venue on the beach and we will try our best to give you a table where you can keep an eye on it. Please note that the boardwalk outside the venue must be kept clear at all times, and we are not responsible for any loss or damage to property including bicycles.

I think I have left something behind, who can I contact?
Please use our contact form and we'll try to locate your lost property for you.

Do you accept cash?
No, we are a cashless venue.

Do you accept American Express?
Yes, we accept all cards, including American Express.

How do we find you?
Look out for our huge disco balls on Brighton seafront, you can't miss them! For a map and directions, take a look at our Find Us page.

Do you play music?
Yes, we play up-beat background music. We also have live music and DJs during the warmer months. Visit our What's On page for more details.

Can we dance?
We would never deny the opportunity for a boogie. We don't have a designated dance floor, but you're more than welcome to create your own around your table, just please don't dance on them! No matter how good your moves are, please be mindful and respectful of other guests.

Do you have a cloakroom?
Unfortunately not.

What is your glass and straw policy?
We use paper straws which are fully bio-degradable and are given out on request. We are fortunate to be permitted to serve all of our drinks in glass, however during events, for safety reasons, we use bio-degradable paper or vegware glasses. This applies to bottled drinks also, where they will be decanted into bio-degradable glassware. As we are on the beach, we ask that you are mindful with your litter; we're happy to disposes of anything appropriately for you, so please give it to a team member, who will make sure it doesn't end up in the sea.

What do we do if we are running late for our booking?
Give us a call and let us know. We'll do our best to hold the table for you, however please keep in mind that if the table is rebooked after your booking this may reduce the time you are able to spend at the table.

We want to stay longer, can we extend our booking?
If your table or area is not booked after your booking, you are more than welcome to stay. We may be able to offer you a longer booking time, please contact our Booking & Events Team to discuss.

Can we hire an area or the venue exclusively for our party?
Yes! If you would like more information, please take a look at our Parties & Private Events page, contact us, or submit an enquiry through our booking form.

Is there anything else we need to know?
We reserve the right to request identification from you and your guests and to refuse entry.
If you are lucky enough to look under 25 you will be asked to prove that you are aged 18 or over when you buy alcohol. If you are under 18 you are committing an offence if you attempt to buy alcohol for you or someone else.
Any person found either possessing, using or distributing any type of drug will be banned from these premises and may be reported to the authorities.
OHSO Social reserves the right to refuse entry at all times.
By entering the venue you consent to the possibility of being photographed or filmed by our marketing team, or by photographers and videographers acting on behalf of the venue or it's promoters. These images and videos may be used online and in print for the purposes of promoting the venue.
